H.E. Francois SAINT PAUL, the French Ambassador to Bucharest, will be awarded the academic Degree Honoris Causa in Aula Magna of the Military Technical Academy, during a ceremony organized at 15.00 hrs., on Wednesday, May 11.

Journalists interested in participating in the ceremony are expected at the academy headquarters (39-49 George Cosbuc Blvd), between 14.20 and 14.45.

Ambssador Francois SAINT PAUL has had a major contribution to the partnership with the Military School of Saint Cyr, which would have not been possible over time without the permanent support of the French Embassy and the defence attachees who represented their country in Romania.

Over 2003 to 2016, there were significant exchanges between the Military Technical Academy and the Military School of Saint Cyr. During this time, 48 French cadets participated in research stages and graduation projects at the Technical Academy, while six Romanian officers and 137 students attended military training stages at Saint Cyr.

This year, in February, a modern classroom for the advanced study of the French language was inaugurated at the Military Technical Academy, with the significant help of the French Embassy to Bucharest, consisting of a donation of audio-video equipment, dictionaries, books, textbooks, etc.
