Troops of the 282nd Mechanized Brigade Unirea Principatelor and US Army 2nd Cavalry Regiment taking part in the event DRAGOON PIONEER RIDE will make a documentation trip at historical objectives in Vrancea County, over May 20 and 22.

On Saturday, May 21, from 8.30 to 13.30, Romanian and American troops will be at Promenada Mall in Focsani for sports activities and an exhibition of military equipment and technology.

The 2nd Cavalry Regiment will then continue their trip to Cincu firing range, Brasov County, passing through Mihail Kogalniceanu, Constanta County, Ploiesti and Brasov.

The US soldiers and the 2nd Mountain Brigade will take part in a cultural day, sports events and an exhibition of military equipment and technology that will be organized in the parking lot of Coresi Shopping Resort in Brasov on Saturday, May 28, from 10.00 to 15.00. Later they will continue their trip to Cincu.

DRAGOON PIONEER RIDE, that brings together about 200 US troops and over 50 mlitary systems, covers a route that passes through Negresti (Moldovan Republic) - Focsani - Mihail Kogalniceanu (Constanta) - Ploiesti - Brasov - Cincu.

Troops of the 2nd Sarmizegetusa Mountain Brigade, of the Army 2nd Cavalry Regiment as well as British troops will participate in the multinational combat training exercise SARMIS 16, conducted at the Land Forces Combat Training Centre of Cincu.
