The celebration of 75 years since the establishment of the first Romanian Paratroopers Unit is marked by ceremonies organized in Bucharest and Buzau, as follows:

- A wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument of the Paratroopers Heroes in the courtyard of the Romanian Televison, Thursday, June 9, from 09.00 hrs.;

- A ceremony marking the end of field exercise Memorial general-maior Grigore BASTAN - 2016, in Dacia Square in Buzau, on Friday, June 10, from 11.00 hrs. ;

- An exhibition of paratroopers eqipment and paratroopers' drills will be organized at Clinceni Airdrome, from 13.30 hrs.

On June 10, 1941 by the Order D.M. 93/1941 the first Paratroopers unit was established the Company of Special Missions under the command of Lieutenant Stefan Soverth.
