Romanian military men from the Ministry of National Defence will participate this year in AeroNautic Show 2016, organized in Crangasi Park, on Lacul Morii Lake, in Bucharest, from 11.00, on Saturday, September 3.


The Romanian Land Forces will participate in Aeronautic Show 2016 with specific combat equipment used by the mountain troops, scouts, engineers and signal specialists. The visitors will have the opportunity to watch escalade exercises and cable crossings, demonstrative intervention exercises for the detection of EODs as well as survival procedures employed by the reconnaissance specialists.


The Romanian Air Force will be represented in the air show by a C-27J Spartan aircraft and an IAR-330 Puma helicopter from 90th Airlift Base, and a MEDEVAC IAR-330 Puma helicopter in the static exhibition.


The educational offers of the military aviation system, the Naval Forces and the communication and information technology structures will be presented at specialty stalls.


Specialists of 'Ferdinand I' National Military Museum and Communication and Information Technology Museum will also attend the activity while soldiers of 'Mihai Viteazul' 30th Guard Regiment will present an armament handling drill-team-type demonstration.


The event is organized by the Romanian Aeronautic Association and the Mayor's Office of Sector 6, through the European Cultural Centre of District 6. Access of the visitors is free of charge.
