Over 900 soldiers from nine countries will participate in JUNCTION STRIKE 16 Multinational Exercise, throughout September 5-22, which will be conducted in Tirgu Mures, Dej, Bistrita, Vatra Dornei, Reghin and Miercurea Ciuc garrisons, in the Training Areas from Jigodin, Valea Urisorului, Beclean, Livezile, Rosu and Rotunda and on Campia Turzii and Bacau airfields.

JUNCTION STRIKE 16 is a field training exercise of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) where soldiers from Georgia, Greece, Great Britain, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Slovenia and the United States of America will participate with ground and air combat equipment.

The goal of the exercise is to train SOF structures in order to plan, organize and conduct an independent special operation based on a fictitious scenario.

Journalists willing to be present at the exercise, on September 8th, in Tirgu Mures garrison, have to sent the following information, until September 7th, 12.00, to junction.strike16@mapn.ro: name, surname, Personal Identification Code, the media institution they represent, the vehicle registration number they drive, the registration number of car kit and their option to participate in one of the above mentioned locations.
