Romanian-Polish Strategic Dialogue on Security and Defence

The State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning in the Ministry of National Defence, Stefan Tinca, and the State Secretary for Strategic Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dan Neculaescu, participate today, September 13, in the 6th Round of the Romanian-Polish Strategic Dialogue, conducted under the aegis of the Romanian-Polish Strategic Dialogue, at the Palace of the National Military Club.

The Polish delegation is headed by Marek Ziołkowski, Undersecretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tomasz Szatkowski, Undersecretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Defence.

The consultations agenda includes bilateral cooperation, the implementation of the decisions of NATO Summit in Warsaw and the recent developments in regional security. A special attention was given to the future of the European Union, the main topics focusing on implementing the European Security Strategy and developing a White Paper of defence at European level.

Conducted in a regional and international context marked by major security risks, the consultations in Bucharest reconfirm the special bilateral relations based on the substance and importance of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
