General Nicolae Ciuca, chief of the General Staff, participates in the Conference of NATO Military Committee in chiefs of defence format, organized in Croatia, over September 16 to 18.

The discussions will focus on implementing the decisions of the Warsaw NATO Summit of July 2016 and the key-elements of the current and future endeavours of the Alliance. The chiefs of defence will also set directives and principles in support of the political and military dialogue and will discuss current and future operations, missions and activities of the Alliance.
