National Competition PatriotFest

The national competition PatriotFest will be launched at the Palace of the National Military Club, Alba Iulia Hall, at 10.00 hrs., on Tuesday, October 11.

For the first time in Romania, organizations of the national security system will launch a national competition on innovation, with the goal of achieving a better national security for the future challenges, by means of capitalizing onthe Romanian innovative resources.

The competition organized by the Ministry of national Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, Special Communications Service, and the Protocol and Guard Service, in partnership with the Association New Strategy Center, is addressed to Romanian innovators at home and abroad, who are invited to present prototypes of their innovations in 3 fields: security of information, artificial intelligence and the interface man-machine.

The contest has the following strategic goals: encouraging private and academic innovation projects by capitalizing the results in Romania, increasing the ratio of innovating projects from the private and academic sphere to that of national security, encouraging talents by offering opportunities in Romania and increasing the ratio of private and academic innovation projects adapted to the requirements of national security.

Journalists accredited to the defence ministry who wish to participate in the activity are expected at the Palace of the National Military Club in 1 Constantin Mille St. in Bucharest.
