The Minister of National Defence, Mihnea Motoc, will make an official visit to Kiev over Octover 10 to 11, at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart, General Stepan Poltorak.

The two ministers will discuss regional security, the military relations between Romania and Ukraine and cooperation in a regional format. They will also analyze ways of intensifying cooperation within NATO-Ukraine Partnership and the Eastern Partnership of the European Union.

The agenda will include a bilateral meeting with the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksandr Turcinov and a visit to the International Exhibition Center of Kiev namely, the International Exhibition Arms and Security 2016.
