About 1,300 troops from Canada, Germany, the Republic of Moldova and Romania participate in the multinational exercise SCORPIONS FURY-16, over October 26 to November 2, conducted at Getica Land Forces Combat Training Centre in Cincu. The opening ceremony will take place at 09.00 hrs, on Wednesday, October 26.

The Land Forces participate in the exercise planned by the Multinational Division South-East with about 1,000 troops from the 2nd Rovine Infantry Brigade.

SCORPIONS FURY 16 will unfold in three stages: command exercises, live field simulation and combat shooting with types of armament, aiming at training command and brigade level units to plan and carry out complex tactical operations, using NATO standard operating procedures, in cooperation with NATO and PfP partner countries.

Journalists interested in participating in the opening ceremony are expected at 08.30 hrs., on Wednesday October 26, at Getica Land Forces Combat Training Centre in Cincu.
