Distinguished Visitors' Day at SCORPIONS FURY-16

Distinguished Visitors' Day during multinational exercise SCORPIONS FURY-16 will take place on Tuesday, November 1, at 11.30, at Getica Romanian Land Forces Combat Training Center, Cincu, Brasov County.

Journalists willing to participate in the activity are asked to send their identification data and transportation vehicle data (name, surname, identity card number, the media institution they represent) today, 31 October, until 16.00. Mass-media representatives will be expected at Cincu Center on Tuesday, November 1, between 10.30 and 11.00.

Romanian Land Forces Combat Training Center hosts the multinational exercise Scorpions Fury (SF 16.II) from 26th of October until 2nd of November, training approximately 1,300 military personnel from four nations including Canada, Germany, Moldova and Romania, with 200 means of equipment and 13 aircraft equipping the Romanian Air Forces. The Multinational Division South-East is the exercise planner. Our country is represented by almost 1,000 soldiers, most of them being assigned in 2nd Rovine Infantry Brigade.
SCORPIONS FURY16 consists of brigade headquarter exercises, field training and live fire exercises with all type of equipment. The goal of the exercise is training the brigade headquarters and its subordinate units in the planning and execution of complex tactical operations by using NATO SOPs in cooperation with NATO and PfP partner states.
