The Minister of National Defence Mihnea Motoc met with the Director of the Joint Directorate of Defence Intelligence of the Hellenic Republic, Major General Ioannis Papatheodosiou, at the defence ministry, on Wednesday, November 2.

The two officials reaffirmed the importance of military bilateral cooperation relations and the the activities carried out in common within NATO. Minister Motoc used the opportunity to express his satisfaction for the high level of cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries and reiterated the they share the same values and goals in terms of defence.

The agenda included discussions on the security situation in the extended Black Sea region, our participation in NATO exercises and identifying new ways of extending cooperation in the field of military intelligence.
