Military Parade in Bucharest on Romania's National Day

Over 3,000 military men and specialists from the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Romanian Intelligence Service along over 300 vehicles, 50 of which are aircraft and troops from allied or partner countries, will participate on Thursday, December 1, starting 11.00, in the military Parade organized on the occasion of Romania's National Day, at the Arch of Triumph Square, Bucharest.

The participating foreign military men are from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Northern Ireland, Italian Republic, German Federal Republic, Spain and the United States of America.

Also, a military and religious wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Unknown Soldier's Tomb, from Carol I Park, Bucharest.

On Romania's National Day, representatives of the Romanian Armed Forces will participate, following the local authorities' request, in the preparation and the organization of military parades, military and religious wreath laying ceremonies, meetings with veterans of the theaters of operations and war veterans, combat military equipment and armament exhibitions and torch withdrawals in several garrisons where military formations and units are emplaced.

Also, the National Flag will be hoisted in all military institutions throughout the country while the Naval Forces'maritime and riverine ships will be dressed in full panoply. The soldiers deployed in missions in the theatres of operations will organize military ceremonies and specific activities on the National Day of Romania.
