The Minister of National Defence, Gabriel-Beniamin Les, will participate in the military and religious ceremonies celebrating the Unification Day in Iasi and Focsani, on Tuesday, January 24.

The festivities in Iasi will begin, at 11.00 hrs., with a military ceremony organized at the Monument of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, in Unirii Square and will continue with a short religious service, Te Deum, and a wreath-laying ceremony.

The military and religious ceremony and the evoking moment organized in Focsani will take place in Unirii Square from 16.00 hrs.

Similar ceremonies as well as scientific communication sessions, documentary films gala, exhibitions and shows will be organized in garrisons that host monuments dedicated to the Unification of Romanian Principalities, in cooperation with the local authorities.
