On Thursday, February 9, at 13.30 hrs., a ceremony will be organized at the headquarters of the 265th Military Police Battalion, Tudor Vladimirescu, to mark the return from Afghanistan of the International Military Police (IMP) Detachment and the Army Institutional Advisory Team (AIAT) Detachment that participated in the Resolute Support Mission.

The soldiers of the AIAT Detachment had the mission to counsel commanders and personnel of the main military education institutions and training centers of the Afghan Army. The IMP Detachment ensured order and security at the military base in Bagram.

The 4th rotation of the IMP Detachment is the first detachment deployed in a theater of operations that is led by a woman officer, Lt. Mirela Ivascu.

Journalists interested in participating in the ceremony are expected at 13.00 hrs., on Thursday, February 9, at the headquarters of the 265th Military Police Battalion, Tudor Vladimirescu (4-6 Antiaeriana Road).
