At the end of the week the militaries from Bold Eagles 281st Infantry Battalion participated to Enduring Freedom operation in Afghanistan were visited by Lieutenant Colonel Clarence Neason jr. commander of the 3rd Battalion from the 7th US Army Artillery and a staff officers delegation.
A Romanian Infantry sub-unit is operationally subordinated to the US Battalion for common missions in the Multinational Brigade area of responsibility.

Lieutenant Colonel Constantin Caramidaru the 281st Infantry Battalion commander presented the organization, the endowment and the use of forces for the specific missions and the members of the Romanian Battalion staff officers met their US counterparts. They visited the working places for the command point, the Romanian church and the library and the exhibition of photos.

At the end of the visit Lieutenant Colonel Neason wrote in the honor book of the Romanian militaries: We are proud to be partners, you are real professionists.
