General Nicolae Ciuca, chief of the General Staff, made a working visit to Cernauti in Ukraine, on Thursday, March 16, at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart.

During the meetings with Army General Viktor Muzhenko, chief of the General Staff and commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they discussed military cooperation, common military projects in the context of international military cooperation and the security challenges in the Black Sea region and Souh-East Europe.

Other topics discussed included the participation in common training exercises in bilateral and multinational format.

Also, the Roadmap of bilateral activities of the Romanian and Ukrainian Armed Forces over 2017 to 2018 was signed.
