The Minister of National Defence, Gabriel Les, had a meeting with H.E. Xu Feihong, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bucharest, at the latter's request.

During the talks, the defence minister emphasized the role of bilateral military cooperation in the context of the traditional friendly and cooperation relations between Romania and the People's Republic of China.

Minister Les emphasized the good cooperation in the field of military education and the substantial cooperation in language instruction, pointing out the wish to develop this field.
