General Dr. Mircea Muresan deputy chief of Romanian General Staff will participate between May 12 and 15, 03 in Rome to the Reunion of deputy chiefs of General Staffs of SEDM.

The aim of this Reunion is to continue the regional dialogue within SEDM initiative, the discussions on programs of activities and the annual plan of exercises for the next year. There will be discussed the aspects on implementation of the engagements at Defense ministers level taken during the reunion developed in December 2002 in Rome.

In the same time there will be established the real measures for transferring the SEEBRIG Command from Plovdiv, Bulgaria to Constanta starting this year and the taking over of SEDM presidency.

There will be organized the bilateral meetings on Romania's integration within NATO.
