On Wednesday, July 26, at 11.00 hrs., the Minister of National Defence, Adrian Țutuianu, and the Minister-Delegate for European Funds, Rovana Plumb will sign the documents on Financing the Restoration Project of the Heroes' Cross on Caraiman Peak, during a ceremony organized at the defence ministry headquarters.

Also on Wednesday, at 11.30 hrs., minister Adrian THutuianu will hold a press conference on topics of interest on the field of defence.

Journalists interested in attending the two events are expected at the defence ministry headquarters on Wednesday, from 10.30 hrs., (Checkpoint 3, next to Marriott Hotel). The project Restauration, rehabilitation, conservation and creating an exhibition area within the Monument of WW 1 Heroes' Cross on Caraiman Peak (Cross on Caraiman Monument) is worth over 19 Mil. RON, of which 16 Million is covered by European funding. The contribution of the Ministry of National Defence to financing the project amounts to about 3 Million RON.
