The Minister of National Defence, Adrian THutuianu, and chiefs of military structures involved in defence procurement had a meeting at the defence ministry headquarters, Tuesday, August 29, with a delegation of the American company Lockheed Martin, specialised in the research, development, production and integration of advanced military technologies.

The representatives of the US company presented the opportunities and propositions of cooperation with the national defence industry.

In turn, the Romanian officials presented in detail the eight main Romanian military acquisition programs, as well as other intentions regarding the development of new military technologies in Romania.

Other such meetings are scheduled to take place over the next period of time according to the consultation program with the main players on the international and national market of the national defence industry.
