A detachment of 45 soldiers of the Romanian Land Forces, of the 911th Capidava Battalion participate in Multinational Exercise Agile Spirit 17, conducted at Orpholo firing range in Georgia, over September 1 to 15.

The exercise organized as part of the Black Sea Rotational Force 17 (BSRF 17) is designed to enhance partner interoperability with a view to participating in joint and multinational operations. Troops from Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, Ukraine and the USA participate in the exercise.
The Romanian soldiers will carry out along with the partners live-fire, moving in the tactical field and will exercise command and control procedures.

BSRF 17 is an annual exercise conducted by MARFOREUR in the Black Sea region, the Balkans and the Cucasus.
