State Secretary Nicolae Nasta, chief of the Departament for Parliament Liaison and Public Information will participate in the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers, in Tallinn, over September 6th to 7th.

The agenda includes discussions on European defence, the stage of implementing the EU Global Strategy on security and defence, the missions and operations conducted under the Common Security and Defence Policy.

‘‘EU CYBRID 2017'' exercise will take place at this time. It is designed mainly to counter hybrid and cyber threats to the security of the European Union.

During the reunion, a working lunch will be organized, when they will discuss implementing the permanent structured cooperation, in agreement with the decisions of the European Council of June and starting developing the proposition of the European Commission to create the European Fund for defence.
