Deputy Prime Minister and Interim Minister of the National Defence Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, state secretary Mircea Dusa and the chief of General Staff General Nicolae Ciuca had a meeting with NATO's first Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security Arndt Freytag von Loringhoven, on Tuesday, September 12.

The agenda included talks on Romania's activity in NATO in the field of intelligence and the process of reform of this segment at the level of the Alliance.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of identifying possibilities of extending cooperation within the field of military intelligence. As part of the activity, NATO delegation visited at NFIU in Bucharest.
