The Minister of National Defence, Mihai Fifor, presided the meeting organized at the ministry headquarters, on Wednesday, September 13th, attended by the chiefs of the ministry departments and central structures and members of the Ministerial Leading Group. It is the first meeting scheduled after yesterday's ceremony at Cotroceni Palace that marked taking oath as holder of the defence mandate.

Minister Mihai Fifor met the commanding team and wanted to be briefed on the main ongoing activities of the institution. They also discussed the status of the main defence projects and the necessary measures to implement them.

Such meetings will go on over the next period of time, in order to review the major defence procurement programs and to make progress in the pledges made under the Governing Program and the Plan of Romania's defence Procurement over 2017-2026.
