Carpathian Eagle 2017 Multinational exercise for special operations forces

Between 15-22 Octomber, over 250 Romanian and foreign soldiers participate in the multinational exercise for special operations forces, Carpathian Eagle 2017, which takes place in Targu Mures garrison, Saingiorgiu de Mures and Bogata training areas and Campia Turzii airfield.

Carpathian Eagle 2017 is a special operations forces field exercise that involves foreign troops and land and air combat equipment from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey, in cooperation with Ministry of Defence structures.

The purpose of this exercise is to train independent structures of the special operations forces based on a fictitious scenario.

Jounalists are invited on Friday, October 20th, between 10:00- 10:30, to attend the activities at the headquarters in the unit in Targu Mures (Nicolae Balcescu Street, no. 23).
