The Minister of National Defence, Mihai Fifor, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Estonia to Bucharest, Ants Frosch, at the defence ministry, on November 1st.

The talks focused on reviewing the ways of improving bilateral military relations, mainly in the context of the current assymetric threats and the regional security situation.

The defence minister stressed the importance of an enhanced cooperation in the EU and NATO format, while taking into account the topics of mutual interest for the two countries within the international organizations.

The two officials reiterated the importance of continuing the common steps taken to ensure the allied presence along the entire Eastern flank of the Alliance for the regional security and stability of the EuroAtalntic community in general.
