Chief of Defence General Nicolae Ciuca participates in EUCOM Conference at the level of the chiefs of defence of Central Europe, taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia, on Tuesday, January 30th.

EUCOM Conference brings together the chiefs of defence in Central Europe to discuss how the Alliance could meet as good as possible the global security challenges.

Among the current military topics on the conference agenda there are the latest developments of the challenges in terms of national and regional security, including the southern and eastern flanks of NATO, the common training program of 2018 meant to increase interoperability and enhance response capabilities to crisis situations, the development of US projects in Europe and how NATO members and partners can contribute to the implementation of the promoted and agreed alled initiatives.
