On February, 14 and 15, the Minister of National Defence, Mihai Fifor, will participate in the meeting of NATO defence ministers from the countries in Brussels.

On the first day of the meeting, the defence ministers will focus on the deterrence nuclear policy and planning, fair sharing of responsibilities, as well as the Alliance modernization, institutional adaptation and NATO command structure. The working dinner, with the participation of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, will be dedicated to the aspects related to European defence and NATO-EU cooperation.

The agenda of the second day of the meeting aims to implement the decisions made at the Warsaw and Wales Summits related to the posture of defending and discouraging and discussing the dimension of stability planning and the fight against terrorism.
