At the request of the Department of Emergency Situations, a C-27J Spartan aircraft of the Romanian Air Force, configured for medical evacuation missions, performed a humanitarian emergency flight from Otopeni to Satu Mare and back starting at 16:30, on Thursday, Februaty 15th, for the transport of a person who suffered severe burns.

The crew of the aircraft consists of Commander Ion Staiculescu and Lieutenant Mihai Vardol.

The patient will be assisted during the flight by an SMURD team and military paramedics.
