The Distinguished Visitors Day to the DACIAN LANCER Exercise 18

The Minister of National Defence, Mihai Fifor, and the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Nicolae Ciuca, will be present at the Distinguished Visitors Day of the DACIAN LANCER 18 exercise at the National Joint Training Centre 'Getica' in Cincu, Brasov County.

The exercise is meant to evaluate the Multinational Division South-East Headquarters, the activity being carried out by specialists of the Allied Land Command and monitored by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE).

DACIAN LANCER 18 is a computer-assisted command exercise involving about 900 Romanian and foreign military personnel, conducted by the MND SE HQ (Multinational Division South-East Headquarters) at the National Joint Training Centre 'Getica', over March 12th to 23rd.

The Headquarters Multinational Division Southeast is a component of the NATO Force Structure that exercises the command and control of Art. 5 type of NATO operations collective defence along the south-eastern flank of the Alliance

Military personnel from 15 contributing countries man the Headquarters - Albania, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and Romania as frame-nation.
