On March 27th, Defence Minister Mihai Fifor had several meetings with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkoviae and Martina Daliae, Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia and Minister of Economy, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Crafts.

The discussions highlighted the rising trend of the bilateral relations of Croatia and Romania and the dynamic exchanges of the high level meetings.

The talks included the possibilities of enhancing cooperation and the delegations agreed that there are areas of the bilateral relations that are not at the level of their true potential.

Minister Fifor spoke of Romania's strong commitment to consolidate its statute as regional stability pillar and security provider, which is a government priority in defence, and the modernization of the military due to the two percent of the GDP allotted to defence.

The two delegations emphasized the importance of continuing the strategic dialogue and enhancing bilateral relations on defence and other fields of mutual interest.
