The State Secretary for Defence, Planning and International Relations, Mircea Dusa, participates in the Informal Meeting of the EU Defence Ministers in Sofia, over May 4th to 5th.

The topics to be discussed include implementing the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), the perspectives of crisis management in terms of the current security challemges as well as cooperation with the EU and other international organizations such as NATO and the UN.

The agenda includes also a meeting of the European Defence Agency Steering Committee when the role of the Agency will be discussed in developing military capabilities in the EU. The defence ministers will be briefed on aspects related to an Action Plan on Military Mobility.
