A military delegation headed by General Dr. Mihail Popescu chief of Romanian General Staff will participate between May 12 and 15, 03 at NATO HQ to the Reunion of Euro-Atlantic Partnership Military Committee at chiefs of Defense level of the Alliance and partner countries (EAPMC-CS).

The aim of this Reunion is to discuss each state military implication in securing peace and security in the Balkans and the participation to the counter terrorism campaign according to the Partnership Action Plan.

General Dr. Mihail Popescu will participate for the first time to a limited reunion of NATO chiefs of Defense. Chiefs of General Staffs from the seven invited states to join NATO are also invited to this reunion. The representatives of partner countries will be informed within this framework on the latest evolutions of NATO new structure of forces and command that probably will be finalized this year in summer.
