Romanian-American Exercise Dacian Eagle 2018 takes place at the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii, over June 15th to September 15th.

The exercise brings together about 200 Romanian servicemen, pilots and technical staff with six MiG-21 LanceR aircraft and four IAR-330 Puma (SOCAT and MEDEVAC) from the 71st Air Base along some 300 US servicemen and 12 F-15 aircraft from the 131st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron Massachusetts Air National Guard.

DACIAN EAGLE 2018 continues the tradition of the Romanian-Amercian exercises conducted at the 71st Air Base in order to exercise techniques, tactics, protocols and standard procedures associated with air operations in agreement with NATO standards.
