The Minister of National Defence Mihai Fifor will participate in the 2018 edition of the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum held in Constanta on June 16th.

Minister Fifor will deliver a speech at the most important panel of discussions held within the forum Challenges to the Security in the Black Sea Region and the Balkans.

Organised by the New Strategy Center and co-sponsored by NATO, the forum is an annual event bringing together military and civilian officials, academics, analysts, representatives of non-governmental organisations, and international security experts.

This year's agenda includes topics related to the regional security situation, the challenges posed by the hybrid war, the militarisation of Black Sea and its influence on the security ofn the area, energy security, economic cooperation in the Balkans and the Black Sea, risks and challenges to the financial environment, cyber-security, and industrial defence cooperation.
