On Tuesday, April 2, a US B-52-type strategic bomber conducted joint training activities in the Romanian air space, in the area of Getica Joint National Training Center, from Cincu, Brasov County. The training session was coordinated by the Air Force Staff's Air Operational Component, together with FAC elements (Forward Air Control) and JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) of the Romanian Air and Land Forces.

The goal of the flight activity of a US B-52-type strategic bomber strategic aircraft operated by the US Air Force is to demonstrate the Allied power in the South-Eastern Europe and contributes to the increase of Romania's trust with regard to the involvement of the United States of America in ensuring regional security by providing for the reassurance measures in the South-Eastern area of the Alliance.
