The first event of the Campaign “Romania – 15 years in NATO. 70 years since the establishment of the North-Atlantic Organization and the continuation of the Public Campaign #WeAreNATO
The first public event of the campaign #WeAreNATO: Romania – 15 years in NATO. 70 years since the establishment of the North-Atlantic Organization will take place on Thursday, April 4, starting 13.00, at the Research center for intelligent and innovative products, processes and services - PRECIS, at Politehnica University of Bucharest.
Thus, the activity consists in the launching of the competition with the topic “The best paper with military applicability presented in scientific communication working sessions of the students attending higher education institutions with technical profile”.
The journalists willing to participate in this activity are expected on Thursday, April 4, between 12.15 - 12.40, at the Research center for intelligent and innovative products, processes and services - PRECIS, at Politehnica University of Bucharest (the access will be made from 6D Iuliu Maniu Avenue, District 6, Bucharest).

In 2019, there will have been 15 years since Romania joined NATO and 70 years since the establishment of the North-Atlantic Organization. On this occasion, the MoND, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Education, organizes a series of public events.
#WeAreNATO Public Information Campaign will be run in Romania, this year, too. The campaign is organized in several allied states and aims at increasing the young public’s trust in the Alliance ability to protect the population and its allied territory and mainly focuses on facilitating the youth’s access to information about NATO by means of activities dedicated to them and supported by a component adapted to the virtual environment.
In our country, the campaign is organized by the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Education and with the support of NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.
