The international seminar "ROLE OF THE INVITED STATES TO JOIN NATO IN COUNTER-TERRORISM'' organized by the Center of Strategic Studies of Security from the General Staff and "George C. Marshall-Romania" Association will be developed Wednesday May 14, 03 between 08.00 and 16.00 hours at National Military Cercle, Byzantine Hall.

Researchers in national security from military and civilian institutions, representatives of Presidential administration, members of Commissions of Defense, Public Order and National Security from the Romanian Parliament, specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Romanian Service of Information, Service of External Information, Service of Protection and Guard, War National College, from USA, military attaches in Bucharest, representatives of non governmental organizations were invited to participated to this session.

The lectures will make an evaluation and a prognosis on international environment of security, actions of cooperation in counter-terrorism and a developed analysis on NATO's role in securing security and stability. Also, the main strategic landmarks of Romania in counter-terrorism campaign will be stressed on and the considerations on military role of our country within this process.
