State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations, Doru-Claudian Frunzulica, will participate in the Meetings of NATO Defence Ministers , organized at the North-Alliance Headquarters from Brussels, over 24 -25 October.

The Meetings of NATO Defence Ministers have a special relevance from the perspective of the preparation of the meeting agenda at the level of the chiefs of states and governments for the Reunion which will take place in London, over 3-4 December. The decisions that are to be adopted will contribute to the continuation of the adaptation process of the Alliance posture to the threats and challenges posed by the current security environment.

The event is structured on four reunions and will focus on the status of the implementation of the reinforced deterrence and defene posture, equitable burden sharing, participation in the Alliance missions and operations, resilience as well as the countering of the hybrid threats.
