The Minister of National Defence, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, and the Deputy Chief of Romanian Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, met with the Chief of Ukrainian Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Ruslan Khomchak, who was on official visit to Romania, on November 30, at the MoND Headquarters.

The bilateral talks had a formal character and focused on the status and perspectives of enhancing cooperation relations between Romania and Ukraine in the field of defence. Also, the recent developments of the regional security situation and increase of interoperability level with a view of jointly participating in various military exercises were tackled during the official meeting.
