The Minister of National Defence, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, received the Ambassador the State if Israel, David Saranga today, 15 January, at the MoND Headquarters.

The officials talked about military cooperation between the two states and exchanged information about the geopolitical and geostrategic developments at global level and within the Euro-Atlantic space.

Also, during the talks, the officials approached topics referring to the evolution of the situation from the Middle East and bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine and military educational system.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Ciuca and Ambassador Saranga emphasized the importance both states attach to the bilateral relation and expressed their commitment to continuing political-military dialogue within the current formats with a view of enhancing defence cooperation by identifying new common projects.

The meeting is part of the periodic talk calendar the minister has with the ambassadors accredited to Bucharest.
