On Friday, 31st January, Minister of National Defence, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Romania, Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra.

The talks focused on the status of bilateral military cooperation at regional level as well as within NATO and EU context, both parties expressing their interest in consolidating Romanian-Estonian cooperation in the field of security in order to implement the Allied Eastern flank reassurance and strengthening measures.

The defence minister emphasized the availability to continue developing the cooperation programs in common interest fields such as military education and cybernetic defence.
