The Minister of National Defence, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, and the chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, met with the Commander of Great Britain Allied Rapid Response Corps, Lieutenant General Edward Smyth-Osbourne, on Tuesday, 16 June, at the MoND Headquarters.

The security situation from the extended Black Sea Region, ways of cooperation in establishing and achieving full operational capability by the future Multinational Corps South-East from Sibiu and the identification of collaboration opportunities within future multinational exercises were the main topics of discussion during the meeting.
