Defence Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca and the chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, will meet with the Commander of the United States Army Europe (USAREUR) General James C. McConville on Friday, 7th August, at the MoND Headquarters. The USAREUR Commander will be accompanied by Lieutenant General Christopher G. Cavoli, the Chief of the USAREUR forces deployed to Europe. The meeting is part of the visit scheduled by the American officials to Romania, over 7-9 August.

At the end of the meeting, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu and General James C. McConville will make press statements at the MoND Headquarters, starting 15.35.

The journalists interested in participating at the activity will be expected on Friday, 7th August, between 14.45-15.15, at Post Command la 3 (Entrance nearby Marriott Hotel), with their personal identification document and press badge as well as medical protection materiel.
