State Secretary Simona Cojocaru, at the celebration of the Polish Armed Forces' Day

State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations, Simona Cojocaru, participated in the ceremonies celebrating the Day of the Polish Armed Forces organized at Warsaw, following the invitation of the Polish Ministry of Defence.

The event was organized to mark 100 years since the most important victory in the modern history of Poland gained against Bolshevik Russia the Battle for Warsaw, of 13th-25th August 1920.

On this occasion, the Romanian delegation participated in the official reception offered by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, and had a bilateral meetng with Poland's State Secretary Paweł Woźny.

In the last day of the visit paid to the Polish capital city, Simona Cojocaru laid a wreath at the Unknown Soldier's Monument, in the honor of the Polish heroes who sacrificed their lives for Poland's sovereignty and independence and met with the leadership of the Romanian Detachment deployed within the Polish Battle Group.
