Participation of State Secretary Simona Cojocaru in the Forum Disrupted Future, Shared Purpose: Mapping a New Transatlantic Decade

On Tuesday, 22nd September, State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations participated in the Annual Forum Disrupted Future, Shared Purpose: Mapping a New Transatlantic Decade, organized by the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), in the videoconference format.

During the panel Arenas of Contestation: The Geopolitics of the Black Sea, State Secretary Cojocaru made a presentation on the current threats in the Black Sea area and their impact on Euro-Atlantic security and stability. In this context, the officials emphasized the need to consolidate national resilience, within this new strategic paradigm.

At the same time, State Secretary Cojocaru brought forward Romania's vision on the region security by reiterating the need of an overall, solidary and realistic approach of the Black Sea at the level of the North-Atlantic region by implementing the principle One threat, One flank, One presence.
