On November 26th, Minister of National Defence, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, participated in Dual-use Transportation Corridors on NATO's Eastern Flank Workshop organized by the Multinational Brigade South-East, in cooperation with the Association of the Reserve Commissioned Officers from Romania, at the National Military Club from Craiova.

The working sessions of the workshop focused on the idea of developing a military mobility national strategy, the main topics approached being the civil-military inter-institutional cooperation, the military mobility action plan, and, not the least, the national programs of strategic investments in the Romanian transportation infrastructure.

The workshop was structured in two parts. In the first part, the participants presented a material which displayed an objective image of the transportation infrastructure on the EU/NATO frontier/South-Eastern Flank, while in the second part the debates were organized in the form of a panel.

Representatives of the local authorities and institutions from the National Defence, Public Order and National Security System were also invited to participate in the workshop.
