On January 21st, a Romanian Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft conducted a flight in order to bring to Romania almost 5 tons of sanitary equipment from Qatar necessary for the vaccination campaign consisting in 500,000 1 ml syringes and 540,000 3 ml syringes.

The flight was conducted following the request of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (GIES), as part of the efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemics.

The equipment will be distributed to the community vaccination centers with the GIES means of transportation.
