The meeting of State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Bucharest

Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations, Simona Cojocaru, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Romania, Raja Jhinaoui Ben Ali, on Tuesday, 2nd March, at the MoND Headquarters .

The State Secretary reiterated that Tunisia is an important partner f Romania and NATO, reminding the recent support given by the Alliance during the pandemics, through the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC).

Also, the two officials approached the perspectives of the bilateral cooperation development in the field of defence and military education, the participation of the two partner states' armed forces in peace-keeping operations and missions the global pandemic situation and the security situation developments in the common interest regions.
